Sawit Seberang – Diduga karena kelelahan, petugas Kelompok Penyelenggara Pemilihan Suara (KPPS) meninggal dunia, Kamis (15/2/2024) pagi. Awalnya, Larso (52), sempat sesak nafas saat akan berbenah di TPS 01, Desa Sawit Hulu, Kecamatan Sawit Seberang, Langkat, bersama rekan – rekannya.
“Seluruh petugas KPPS di TPS 01 Sawit Hulu berkumpul untuk beres – beres usai pelaksanaan pemilu semalam. Larso juga hadir di TPS bersama rekan – rekannya sesama KPPS,” ujar Waristo, warga sekitar TPS tersebut.
Namun naas, Larso tiba – tiba mengalami sesak dan kesulitan bernafas. Oleh warga di sekitar lokasi itu, Larso sempat diberi pertolongan seadanya. Di sana, Larso sempat diberikan oksigen untuk membantu pernafasannya.
Tak hanya itu, Larsu juga langsung dibawa warga sekitar ke Klinik Pratama Arafah yang ada di desa itu. Namun, Larso akhirnya meninggal dunia saat di perjalanan menuju klinik, sebelum mendapatkan pertolongan medis.
Informasi dari warga sekitar, Larso memiliki riwayat sakit atsma (sesak nafas). Jenazah Larso pun kini sudah dibawa di rumah duka, untuk dimakamkan di pemakaman umum setempat. (Ahmad)
