Padang Tualang – Sedikitnya 14 rumah semi permanen di termasuk panti jompo di Kmapung Terekat Naqsyabandiyah Babussalam ludes terbakar, Rabu (5/6/2024) sekira jam 02.45 WIB. Kebakaran yang terjadi Dusun II Hulu, Desa Besilam, Kecamatan Padang Tualang, Langkat ini, diduga karena korsleting listrik.
Informasi yang diperoleh media ini, tidak ada korban jiwa dalam peristiwa tersbut. Namun, kerugian meteril akibat 14 rumah semi permanen yang ludes terbakar mencapai Rp1 Miliar lebih.
Kastpol PP Kabupaten Langkat Dameka Putra Singarimbun SSTP menerangkan, pihaknya menurunkan 2 unit mobil pemadam kebakaran (Damkar) ke lokasi. “Pengendalian api pertama kali dengan damkar dari Pos Tanjung Pura,” ujar Dameka.
Dameka menambahkan, berselang 20 menit dari peristiwa itu, mobil damkar dari Satpol PP Langkat tiba di lokasi. Masyarkat sekitar juga membabantu memadamkan api dengan perlengkapan seadanya.
“Ada 14 rumah yang terbakar. Semuanya semi permanen. Selain rumah warga, ada juga panti jompo yang ludes terbakar. Kerugian diperkirakan mencapai Rp1 Miliar lebih,” teranganya.
Adapun rumah warga yang terbakar diantaranya milik Asiah Soleh (65), Bakti (42), Samsiah (60), Mursidin (50), dana Inang Boru (70) serta bagunan semi permanen panti jompo.
Kondisi rumah yang didominasi berbahan kayu di pemukiman itu, membuat api dengan cepat merembet. Namun, sekira jam 04.42 WIB api berhasil dikendalikan oleh tim gabungan damkar dan warga sekitar. (Ahmad)
