Tanjung Pura – Dapur penyulingan minyak mentah (kondensat) ilegal milik Sri Rita Wati (45), warga Dusun Teluk Nibung, Desa Pantai Cermin, Kecamtan Tanjung Pura, Langkat dikabarkan meledak, Rabu (1/11/2023) sore. Di lokasi penyulingan yang sama, pada 24 Juni 2023 lalu, pernah terbakar dan menewaskan satu orang pekerjanya.
Informasi yang diterima awak media, kebakaran di lokasi penyulingan kondensat ilegal itu, berawal dari percikan api mesin produksi. Api yang cepat membesar, sempat membuat heboh warga sekitar. Bagaimana tidak, dapur penyulingan milik Rita itu berada persis di sekitar pemukiman warga.
“Kalau dapur dia (Rita) itu dah berulang kali terbakar. Tapi ya tetap aja buka lagi dapur minyaknya. Seperti dah kebal hukum lah dia di sini. Kalau dah meledak, resah juga lah warga di sini,” ketus warga yang enggan menyebutkan identitasnya, Kamis (2/11/2023) pagi.
Untuk mengatasi kebakaran tersebut, satu unit mobil Damkar dari SatPol PP Kabupaten Langkat diturunkan ke lokasi. Berselang dua jam terjadinya kebakaran, api yang berasal dari dapur penyulingan minyak itu dapat dipadamkan petugas Damkar.
Kepala Desa Pantai Cermin Muhammad Taufik membenarkan adanya peristiwa tersebut. Ia mengaku mengetahuinya dari kadus setempat. “Menurut pak kadus saya seperti itu (terbakar),” tutur Taufik singkat, seraya membenarkan adanya pekerja Rita yang tewas terbakar di lokasi tersebut pada akhir Juli 2023 lalu.
Terpisah, Kanit Ekonomi Polres Langkat Iptu Ali Asghor menerangkan, perkara Rita terkait tewasnya pekerja dapur minyak itu tinggal tahap 2. “Masih memenuhi tahap 2 pengiriman tersangka ke jaksa. Masih memenuhi P19 jaksa. Sudah monitor tinggal limpah ke jaksa yang bersangkutan,” kata Ali via pesan WhatsAppnya.
Ali menepis, kalau dapur minyak itu sudah tidak beroperasi lagi. Namun saat ditanya kenapa dapur itu terbakar, Ali menegaskan hal tersebut sudah ditangani. “Sudah tidak beroperasi, sudah kami tangani,” ketusnya.
Diinformasikan, dapur penyulingan minyak ilegal di Desa Pantai Cermin, Kecamatan Tanjung Pura, menelan korban jiwa. Seorang pekerja, Zulkarnain (26) tewas setelah sekujur tubuhnya terbakar akibat terkena semburan minyak mentah di tempat penyulingan ilegal tersebut.
Zulkarnain dilaporkan meninggal dunia di RS Adam Malik Medan, Kamis (13/7/2023) malam. Kondisinya sangat mengenaskan. Sekujur tubuhnya penuh luka bakar. Jenazah dibawa ke rumah duka Desa Wampu/Pasiran, Tanjung Pura, Langkat sekitar pukul 04.00 WIB, Jumat (14/7/2023) pagi.
Insiden yang mendera Zulkarnain terjadi pada 24 Juni 2023 lalu. Saat itu, Zulkarnain yang bekerja di dapur penyulingan minyak mentah milik Sri Rita Wati di Desa Pantai Cermin Tanjung Pura, terkena semburan minyak mentah yang meledak dari dapur penyulingan. Ledakan itu pun seketika menyulut kobaran api. Dalam hitungan detik, api menyambar membakar Zulkarnain.
Melihat hal itu, para karyawan penyulingan minyak mentah milik Rita bergegas memberikan pertolongan. Zulkarnain dilarikan berobat kampung di desa tersebut. Karena kondisinya mengkhawatirkan, Zulkarnain dilarikan ke RS Putri Bidadari Stabat. Kemudian dirujuk ke RS Bina Kasih Medan. Selanjutnya Zulkarnain dilarikan ke RS Adam Malik Medan.
Menurut Humas RS Adam Malik Medan, Rosario Simanjuntak, pasien atas nama Zulkarnain sudah meninggal dunia dengan kondisi luka bakar 72 persen. “Tadi malam meninggal dunianya,” ucap Rosario menjawab konfirmasi wartawan, Jumat pagi. (Ahmad)
