Nissan meluncurkan Nissan Livina berbasis Xpander beberapa waktu lalu di Indonesia. Di Jepang, aliansi Nissan-Mitsubishi meluncurkan empat mobil jenis Kei car baru.
Beberapa kendaraan di antaranya: Nissan Dayz, Nissan Dayz Highway Star, Mitsubishi eK Wagon dan Mitsubishi eK X. Bentuknya sangat mirip dengan Livina dan Xpander.
Nah, produksi mobil mini ini, ditangani oleh perusahaan patungan, NMKV. Dan mereka siap melakukan produksi di Pabrik Mizushima Mitsubishi di Kurashiki, Jepang.
Sebetulnya, kerja bareng antara Nissan dengan Mitsubishi meluncurkan Kei car terjalin pada 2013. Lalu terjadi peningkatan kolaborasi bisnis, sejak keduanya menjadi mitra aliansi pada 2016.
Untuk pertama kalinya, Kei car Nissan dan Mitsubishi siap menawarkan teknologi mengemudi semi-otonom. Kemampuan yang dirancang untuk penggunaan jalur tunggal di jalan raya.
