Tanjung Pura – Rumah Tahanan Negara (Rutan) Kelas IIB Tanjung Pura Kanwil Kemenkumham Sumut, Kabupaten Langkat, melaksanakan pemilihan umum (Pemilu) 2024, Rabu (14/2/2024) apagi. Di sana, terdapat TPS khusus nomor 901 untuk menampung 306 suara hak pilih dari WBP dan petugas Rutan.
Ratusan WBP terlihat sangat antusias berpartisipasi untuk menggunakan hak pilihnya. Hal itu tak terlepas dari monitoring Karutan Tanjung Pura Jimri Nababan AMd IP SH, untuk memastikan pemilu di sana berlangsung aman dan kondusif.
“Khususnya di lokasi TPS khusus Rutan Tanjung Pura, ada sebanyak satu TPS. Pelaksanaannya kita mulai tadi pukul 07.30 WIB sampai dengan selesai. Ada sebanyak 306 hak pilih, baik itu petugas dan warga binaan kami yang akan melaksanakan pencoblosan di hari ini” kata Jimri
Jimri menambahkan, untuk menjaga kondusifitas dan keamanan proses pemungutan suara di sana, ia pun melakukan dengan Kepala KPR untuk teknis pelaksanaannya. Hal itu untuk memastikan kondusifitas saat WBP melaksanakan pencoblosan.
Untuk petugas Kelompok Penyelenggara Pemungutan Suara (KPPS) sendiri, terdiri dari anggota ataupun pegawai di Rutan Tanjung Pura. Pelaksanaanya pun diawali dengan pengucapan sumpah janji dan do’a, yang diikuti oleh pengawas TPS dan saksi.
“Animo dari warga binaan sangat besar sekali pada pemilihan tahun ini. Warga binaan di sini mengenakan baju tahanan berwarna biru cerah. Mereka antre di bilik TPS untuk bisa mencoblos,” tutur Jimri.
Pria ramah ini berharap, seluruh WBP yang telah terdaftar dapat menggunakan hak pilihnya dengan baik. Jimri juga mengucapkan terima kasih kepada seluruh petugas yang telah bertugas. Sehingga pemilu di Rutan Tanjung Pura dapat terlaksana dengan aman dan kondusif.
“Alhamdulillah, kita melihat perjalanan pemilu di Rutan Tanjung Pura ini berjalan dengan baik dan tidak ditemukan suatu persoalan apapun. Kita berdo’a agar tetap berlangsung lancar hingga akhir.
